STÉPHANIE VIENS

VIENS uses a variety of mediums to create her world, including acrylic paint, pastels, charcoal, pencil, plaster, photo collage, embroidery, and her daughter's drawings. The artist subtly incorporates these drawings to immortalize memories, serving as reminders of childhood. This small, deeply personal touch reveals her vulnerability and sensitivity. She uses her own photographs as well as royalty-free images. It is through collage and texture on the canvas that she finds her starting point.
