 Description :
 Series: Inland Geography
These works are part of an approach exploring how the world settles within us. Each canvas becomes a sensitive territory, between fragments of memory, lived experiences, and the emergence of an inner light.

And the light gently returns is part of a research project on memory, the passage of time, and inner transformation. Through a richly layered composition, the work evokes fragments of lived experiences—places, impressions, moments that settle within us.

The forms, sometimes organic, sometimes structured, suggest a sensitive cartography of lived experience. Warm colors—reds, ochres, yellows—mingle with more serene areas, as if the experience were gradually integrating into a restored balance.

Within this density, a light emerges. It is not immediate, nor dazzling—it settles in gently. It evokes that subtle moment when, after a journey, something within us opens up again.

 This work is about return.
 A sense of calm.
A clarity that does not impose itself, but that returns.

 This piece fits perfectly into:

Main living room - Above a low cabinet or a sofa in neutral tones

Transitional space (entrance hall, wide corridor) – Like an invitation to slow down, to enter into a different rhythm from the very first steps

Office or creative space - To support a state of reflection, integration, and renewal

Reading nook or introspective space - Combined with natural materials (linen, wood, ceramic), it creates an enveloping atmosphere

Upscale waiting room / professional office - Perfect for creating a sensitive and distinctive atmosphere, far removed from impersonal visuals

A minimalist bedroom – perfect for moments of rest and refocusing, without overstimulation.
